Augusta

random

My trip to Kansas was short, but it was great to see my sister and her family. The temperature was in the 30s, except for the day they got a ‘snow storm’, or so they called the inch of snow on the ground. I’m not sure many Kansans could handle a Minnesota winter.

My sister actually lives in a small town outside of Wichita.

Well, the Kansans got to experience a little MN winter today! After 3 days of weather in the 50's-60's, we got nailed with a blizzard today! First freezing rain, then white-out conditions with blowing and drifting snow. We've got almost a foot or more of snow now (ok... so it was 6-8 inches). Thankfully, tomorrow should be in the 40's, so we won't even have to break out the snow shovels. :)
